Every season should be a special gifting season! The IVE League started a unique book-gifting program in the United States in 1999. It continues into the third millennium; not just for the United States, but taking the program global as well.
We are asking you to help us give the love of reading--truly the gift of learning--to the kinds of children who need it most; "disposable" children in abuse and crisis interdiction centers, homeless shelters, disaster relief centers, pre-foster placement, and regretably war/refugee centers.
On the four pages listed above you will find:
(1) a selection of books in the English Language for the enjoyment of beginning and intermediate readers--for parents and young people to read together and engoy as well as for readers from age 3 on;
(2) A selection of books in English for the advanced reader, usually for ages 7 through to adult; and
(3) a selection of books in Spanish both for native speakers and bilingual leaguage learners.
Most of these books have been selected by IVE League staff members from the IVE Virtual Bookstore Usborne Books catalogue. The prices shown on the pages in this catalog reflect all of the additional purchase and distribution costs associated with the Global Gift of Learning program.
